My Experience in Otakuthon 2026, and Montreal Comiccon 2026

  To be honest I don’t post any of these "Journals" in DeviantART about my experience in nerd geek conventions, concerts and events, because I’m tired and its too repetitive. I just post it as “Status” only. 

  But to be honest again… These experience were so great that I have to get them out of my chest!

  My experience in Otakuthon 2026 and Montreal Comiccon 2026 were a 7/10!

  I’ll talk about my experience how it go in these 2 nerd geek conventions. 

  First I’ll talk about Otakuthon 2026 and next will be the previous one Montreal Comiccon 2026. 

So here we go:

Otakuthon 2026 

  -I met my friend while I was guarding John Sirabella’s table the founder of Media Blasters. It was nice and it was funny how I was the chosen one to guard the table. Her and I had a small talk. It was nice to see my friend again.
  -I saw my friend in the cafeteria eating with their friends’ group and I join in and eat with them. It was a small talk and I enjoyed it.
  -I see my friend artist again and we had a nice good talk. 

  -It was nice to see my photographer and his wife running their table, we had a good talk. I didn’t ask for a photoshoot in this year’s 2026, because I don’t have my new OC cosplay equipment and parts yet, and I didn't create my OC yet.
  -I see John Sirabella again and he is running a table again. It was great! He gave me a great discount for buying Blu Rays and DVDs and stuff from him.
  -I saw my coworker from my job and I called him out. He saw and we talked a little bit. We were in the hentai Doujinshi section hahahaha! He show me something cool he purchase, it was some bullet dices.

  -It was nice to see my protector ally again. 
  -I talk to reinsomniacart, a nice artist that I chose to do 3 art commissions that I pay him to do in cash. We had a good talk.

  -The shopping was good and ok. 

  I bought too many Blu Rays and DVDs, other things from John Sirabella Media Blasters. 

  I bought too many hentai stuff which is expensive damn it… 
  I bought some posters, figurines, character’s stands, Rouge the Bat (Sonic the Hedgehog) Funko pop figure, Sayori (Doki Doki Literature Club) keychain, bookmarks, etc…

  -2 people took photos of my cosplay. Some liked my cosplays.

 
  -I met Faye Mata the famous voice actress of Astolfo (Fate), Celica Clayton (Death end re;Quest), Nico (Dead or Alive). 
  She was nice, kind, friendly and hyper to me. 
  I met her 3 times in a row in the 3 days! Woah this is the first time I met a voice actress 3 times in a row! 
  I have an autograph print with her, plenty of photos with her and 3 videos recorded of her doing the Astolfo voice and talking about positive motivation comments.
  She’s Filipina, the same race as me I’m Filipino. I speak to her a little bit of Tagalog when I met her and then I pull out and open the Philippines flag (I bought the flag on Amazon Canada) right in front of her, she couldn’t believe it. She speak a little bit of Tagalog to me and she's been to the Philippines a few times. She recorded me with her camera, she might post it on social media my goodness! 
  She played Super Smash Bros Ultimate an open challenge versus her. I couldn’t versus her, because I wasn’t selected in the crowd so I watch her fight against other players. She even smiled at me. It was nice and entertaining watching her play.
  It was a great experience meeting and talking to her. 
  Thank you Faye Mata for everything...

  -I met Caitlin Glass the famous voice actress of Winry Rockbell (Fullmetal Alchemist), Alcina (Unicorn Overlord), Ria Tōjō (Phantom Breaker Omnia). 
  It was nice and ok. 

  I had 3 selfies with her and an autograph print of Kyoko Kirigiri (Danganronpa).
  I enjoy showing her photos of underrated characters she voiced and she remembers them. She did a small voice sample of Alcina for me and it was nice. 

  -A few of the staff were ok and nice.

  It was a great experience!

Montreal Comiccon 2026

  -I met Brenda Hickey a famous comic book artist for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. 

  I talk to her and it was nice. Having autographs and a photo with her is free. 

  She did an art commission I requested, I ask her to draw Rainbow Dash (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) in Agile Armored Alex Mercer (Prototype 2). It was epic and nice!

  I bought a few stuff from her.

  -I met Sean Schemmel the famous voice actor of Goku (Dragon Ball), Black Doom (Sonic the Hedgehog), Lucario (Pokemon). 

  He was friendly and nice to talk too. He gave me a chance to talk to him. I had an autograph and photos with him. 

  He is so epic and a legend! 

  -I met Tara Platt the voice actress of Zero (Drakengard), Temari (Naruto) and Setsuka (Soulcalibur 4 and 6). 

  My goodness I went to check how long the line is after meeting Sean Schemmel, only 1 person was falling in line to her table so I went straight to the line right away! 

  I ask her for a video I requested to do Zero’s voice and it was nice.

  She was friendly and nice. 

  I had a photo and autograph with her.

  -I met Yuri Lowenthal the voice actor of Smoke (Mortal Kombat 1), Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto), Peter Parker Spider-Man (Marvel's Spider-Man 2018). 

  He was friendly and nice to talk too just like his wife Tara Platt. 

  I ask him to do a video of him doing the Smoke voice of talking about positive motivations, it was great. 

  I got his autograph and a photo with him.

  -I met Troy Baker the voice actor of Erron Black (Mortal Kombat 10 and 11), Joel Miller (The Last of Us), Snow Villiers (Final Fantasy 13). 

  He was friendly and nice to talk too just like the rest of the celebrities who I met. 

  I ask him to do the Erron Black voice and he did it! It was nice! 

  He grab my phone and we did a selfie with each other. I got his autograph too.

  -Holy shit I met 5 famous celebrities! I broke my record! I use to meet a total of 4 celebrities, but now I met a lot! Oh my goodness wow! That’s epic and that’s so awesome!

 
  -The shopping was great, I bought many stuff such as concept art books, figurines, posters, snapback caps, a Sailor Moon hoodie, shirts, a few stickers.

  -The staff members were good and alright.

  It was an epic experience…!

Both conventions.

  -I was cosplaying as Ezio Auditore (Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood) and Kung Fury on both conventions.
  People liked my cosplay, mention it, and a few recognized my Kung Fury cosplay.

  -There were many were some My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic cosplayers (I’m talking about the adults). 

  Oh my goodness! I didn’t expect to see them! I wonder what was going on and why there were many! Its like a comeback return! Oh wow! The cosplayers were 20% more cooler and so awesome!

  -I’m seeing femboys, crossdressers / crossplayers and LGBT people in cosplays. 

I was surprise, just woah…! I didn’t expect that too! I don’t mind!

  -The artists were friendly and nice.
  Even the shop owners too.

  -The cafeteria food was good. 
  Mostly I had pizza and poutine, Pepsi, BBQ chips, and small chocolate cake and that’s about it. 
  It was worth it eating lunch. I had to eat early just to get it over with and get my energy back.

  -Eeeeeeeeeee! I ran out of money on all day 3 for both conventions. 

  I gotta be careful next time or else I won’t have any money left in my wallet! Insanity!

  -I took a few photos of cosplayers (I don’t trust a lot of people anymore).

  Well that’s about it for both conventions...
  It was a great experience and I really enjoyed it...
  Such good memories...
